Q. Is there a minimum for parties on Saturday?

A. Yes. We require a $400 food & beverage minimum for any event held Saturday.  A $500 food & beverage minimum is required for the party area to be closed off.  All parties are booked for 2 hours, however additional hours can be provided at an additional $180 per hour, not included in minimum fee.

Q. How many people can attend my Saturday party?

A. 30 people maximum on Saturdays.  If more than 30 people, we will open on Sunday to accommodate your private party.  Our maximum capacity is 65 people for inside seating and 72 people including our patio area with an $800 food & beverage minimum.

Q. Can I host a private event on a Sunday with less than 30 people?

A. Yes! We gladly accommodate smaller parties on Sundays, however, we do have an $800.00 food & beverage minimum for Sunday events.

Q. Can I bring in my own food or cake from home or another bakery?

A. For insurance purposes we cannot allow any outside food or drink.

Q. What do I need to do to book and event with Queens Bakery and what are the criterias?

A. We require a 50% deposit of your estimated total at time of booking, 25% of the deposit is refundable up to 14 days prior to event date.  In order for our staff to prepare accordingly, we ask that final head count as well as final menu choices are finalized no later than Monday, the week of the event.  Substitutions and exchanges are not allowed the day of the event. Children are welcomed and must be counted for in order to ensure proper seating and service.  Adults must be counted for when hosting children’s parties.

We charge based on the final head count of guests given the week of the event OR final head count the day of the event, whichever is greater.  Tax & gratuity are not included in package price and will be added to your final bill the day of the event. You are welcomed to come in 30 minutes prior to event for set up.  At the end of event, we ask that all guests clear the premises so that our clean up may start immediately.

Decorating Parties

Q. What do your decorating parties include?

A. 3 cupcakes or 3 cookies, multi colored vanilla buttercream icing, sprinkles and 1.5 hours in our party area.  Any and all ages enjoy our decorating parties.  We do have multiple luncheon packages available for both children and adults that can be added to our decorating parties.

Q.  Can adults/ parents attend children birthday parties?

A. Of course! We encourage adults/parents to attend the children’s parties, we require an $8.00 minimum for all adults attending a children’s birthday party.

Q. How many people do we need to have a decorating party? Is 1.5 hours enough time?

A. 10 decorators minimum and yes, 1.5 hours is plenty of time.

Q. How does your decorating parties work?  Should I plan any other activities during our decorating party?

A.  We first serve lunch (if added to your party), followed by a brief demonstration from one of our bakers, then the decorators will have at it.  The decorating process can last anywhere between 15-45 minutes depending on the person.  Coloring pages will then be given to kids.

It is completely up to you. If we are not serving lunch and you do not plan on opening presents, there is a chance that you may have some down time depending on how quickly your decorators work.
